Grazing Milk white - hammered surface Price (no P&P charges) - £1.75 Original - oil Top of page	Emma has captured the gentle Shropshire scene which lies just feet from her door, with her father’s pedigree Holstein herd at work, doing what they do best - eat grass. Cows have grazed this field for many decades whilst Emma’s family have farmed it. It’s still known as “the allotments”, which is what it was used for during the First World War, helping to keep Broseley locals in good supply of basic needs. Now, it is green and quiet, as is so much of the county. As Emma says, “Shropshire is a well kept secret and is a beautiful backcloth on which to paint”.

Emma’s family have farmed here, at the top of the slopes to the Ironbridge Gorge, for over a hundred years. It still is a constant source of inspiration for her.
