You may think that the wonkiness of the buildings is an effect of the style of this painting. I think the residents probably have bannister rails in all rooms.

The original is one of three that are hanging on the wall of one of Lincoln's coffee houses.

This image comes from an acrylic painting which featured in an exhibition called "The warp of memory". It is on the route along the Grand Union canal, passing under this great viaduct, from home in Watford to Brownies every Tuesday evening.

From an original painting by Rosi Campbell. It’s lovely down there in the evening. The big lorries on the bypass look like ocean liners

Named mainly for the gradient, but it could also be to do with the price of coffee.

Excellent bookshops and gorgeous clothes and jewellers along here. Truly a luxury shoppers' paradise.

This Lincoln scene is one of a trio that I painted for display in one of the city's coffee shops.

This started life as a portrait. It’s good fun overpainting. Just turn it sideways and start again.

“A mighty wind arose and took away the little old man and the little old man’s wife and her best teapot and the skinny neighbour and the turkey they were keeping for Christmas and the twins from down the lane and the gardener’s boy with the barrow: even the milking stool and pail went with the wind.”

Down in the spinney at the bottom of the garden I saw a very strange creature. He seemed distinctly uninterested in flying.

This image of me stealing apples from a neighbour's tree comes from an acrylic painting which featured in an exhibition called "The warp of memory". It seemed so daring at the time. And so high above the ground. And really naughty.

This painting shows the top of Steep Hill where it joins the Bailgate. It's the centre of the most historic part of Lincoln, which threatens quaintness overload.

It's one of three that I painted especially for one of Lincoln's coffee shops.
