Angela Jones

Primarily a landscape painter, Angela endeavours to capture a sense of atmosphere and space extending far beyond the picture frames. She makes close observations and recordings and lays great emphasis on the value of drawings. The beauty of Wales and our shared borderlands have been the paramount influence, and retreating in Snowdonia occasionally has helped to develop her response to the landscape, and her sense of fitting in to it. Her colourful and vibrant floral work provides an exciting contrast.
