Maggie is a prolific and versatile artist. For many years her reputation was as a highly distinctive ceramicist, with a very individual style. Her figures at Theatr Clwyd and murals in Barmouth, Rhyl, and Kingston can confirm that. But she left ceramics behind, and is now well regarded for her drawings, book illustrations, and oils. She also has produced many etchings and collographs, so her range of skill and experience is beyond the average. One of her greatest loves (and skills) is to work with pen & ink and watercolour in settings that have a life and history. This led to her producing her own book, “Maggie Humphry’s Shropshire”, and some of her cards here are drawn from it. Maggie runs extremely well rated workshops
